Long day — 250 miles round trip, but this is the unforgettable one. Glass bridge over the Grand Canyon, 4,000 ft straight down. Leave early to beat the heat AND the crowds. Plan for ~10 hours total. 100°F in Vegas, slightly cooler at the canyon.

Shuttle to Eagle Point. Stow phones/bags in free lockers, put on foot booties (provided), step onto the glass. 4,000 ft straight down to the Colorado River. The bridge holds 70 fully-loaded 747s — completely safe, just unforgettable.
Photo strategy One person stays off the bridge with a phone/camera and shoots the rest of the family on it. Then swap. That way you get free photos and skip the $69 print package.
Eagle Point bonus The cliff itself looks like an eagle (you can see it from the Sky View Restaurant). At 11 AM Fri/Sat/Sun there are Hualapai Bird Singers performances — included with admission.
